About Small Business Saturday
Small Business Saturday is taking place on the 2nd December this year. It is a day to highlight small business success and encourages consumers to shop local and support small businesses in their communities.
It is a great opportunity for you to highlight the achievements of your own small business, as well as meet other small businesses within your local area through the events that Small Business Saturday runs.
Currently, they are running the Small Biz 100 which showcases 100 small businesses across the UK and the great work that they do. You can follow this on Small Business Saturday's social media pages. Keep an eye out for their call for businesses to feature for 2024, as it is a great chance to showcase your business to their wider audience.
Small Business Saturday also runs a UK-wide tour throughout November to spotlight and support small businesses all over the country. The tour will call at 23 different towns and cities across the UK throughout November, visiting small businesses and shining a light on their contribution to the UK economy and local communities.
North East Events
The tour will stop in Newcastle on the 6th November. You can request an in-person visit to your small business here: request form.
There will also be online events every day of the tour, connecting you with other small businesses around the UK. Examples of online events include: mastering smart content marketing; sustainability for small and ambitious businesses; and the ultimate guide to product pricing.
